Downtown Calgary Skyscraper Photography

One of the best uses for an ultra-wide-angle lens is in architecture. Tall skyscrapers and buildings that can be hard to fit into the frame of most other lenses can easily be captured in full with a wider view. Once you get used to how to frame with such a lens, it can really open up the creative side. You can catch things like a glimmer of sunlight reflecting off the building, a dramatic cloud cover, or even distorted views that can be used in a more artistic way. Even with the reflections in the windows, you can move around and frame how you want to add an element of something surreal to the image.
