I feel like whenever I encounter a dragonfly in my path I have found some gold. If I can get a few shots before it flies away, if I can get something sharp enough that's usable then there are no dragonfly photos I will ever pass up. They are almost infinitely photogenic and like the mythical dragons of fantasy there is a certain amount of mystery I find in them.
