One of my favorite dragonfly encounters, did not have to leave the house as this one was perched perfectly on the railing of my balcony. It also seemed pretty docile while I was taking the images so I was able to take the time and get a proper focus point which I think really helped with the sharpness. I find that sometimes when I see dragonflies I get worried they will fly away to fast so it can be a challenge to get in close, not startle the little creature and then be able to get the shot's how I want them. Credit to the dragonfly for these shots as it was a perfect model.
