Been here! I came back to England to visit my friends but they happened to be off on a trip and so the day before I bought a super cheap flight with them and slept on the floor of the villa they booked - a lads weekend in Venice was hardly the romantic idea I had in mind when it came to Italy lol... But it was fun. Certainly not claustrophobic - I loved the winding secret alleyways, it's where we found a mega-cheap local winery.
It's so much nicer when you find your way outside the tourist spots
I know, right? It feels like a deep breath of fresh air, lol!
Unfortunately I never thought of looking more closely what those narrow alleys hide as we used them mostly to make it from A to B in shorter periods of time, but it's a good tip for those who will visit or revisit Venice! Thank you for stopping by 🤗
