Remnants from the fall

in Photography Lovers5 years ago

Spring is blooming or soon to be arriving in the Northern hemisphere, and flowers seem to grab all of the attention. I'd like to share a few photos of what was left over from the fall, still stubbornly refusing to give in and decompose.

A seed pod of some kind of small bamboo-like plant.

It strongly reminded me of the eggs from alien! A great movie which still holds up after 41 years!

A naturally occurring trio of dried out empty seed pods or maybe fruit.

I was drawn to the way the branches framed the small fruit things.

The dried dead stalk of a weed, it grows to about 1m or 1.5 tall, quite quickly.

The textures of the stalk and twisted leaves seem to tell a story of multiple branching paths.
Pondering the past experiences of a weed; what an interesting art photography is.

I hope the photos brightened your day!

Just for fun:
Take half a minute and think about where some utterly ordinary object has been, or could have seen had it had eyes to see with!
And if your feeling quite generous, type it out in the comments below!

You should try making an nft with one of your spider photos on lensy.io

That is an interesting idea. I'll check it out.

The tools are in place there, only thing missing are whales to start buying. I’ve bought a few here and there just to support the platform. I’d buy one of your spider NFT’s (as long as it’s not too expensive lol). I have even traded an nft with one artist.

I'm currently researching NFTs and I'll let you know when I make one. They are quite new and markets seem rather sparsely populated. HIVE and BCH are both relatively cheap to create tokens on, ETH is a bit pricey with the gas prices right now but has the most developed market.

Looking forward to seeing your first nft.

It's beautiful. We had too much snow this time. We can only dream about spring now
