For some reason, whenever I see someone walking their dog, it makes me quite happy. Perhaps it's because it reminds me that there are people who truly love their pets, and it's nice to see the dogs happy too. That's why whenever I have the opportunity to take pictures of one, I take advantage of it. This little one was walking in the same square where I was taking pictures, so I didn't let the opportunity pass me by. I hope you enjoy these photographs.
Por alguna razón siempre que veo a una persona pasear junto a su perro me hace bastante feliz, quizás sea porque me recuerdan que hay personas que realmente quieren a sus mascotas y es lindo ver a los perros ser felices también, por eso siempre que tengo la oportunidad de hacerle fotografías a uno lo aprovecho y esta pequeña andaba paseando en la misma plaza donde yo me encontraba haciendo fotos, por lo que no dejé pasar la oportunidad, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.
I won't deny that I always feel a little sad when I take photos of people's pets. Not everyone will like it, but I've been lucky enough to meet people who always strike up a conversation with me and allow me to take pictures of their beloved canine friends. This occasion was no exception, as while the owner talked to me and told me about her dog, I listened and took some pictures at the same time.
No voy a negar que siempre me genera un poco de pena el hacerles fotos a las mascotas de las personas, no a todos les gustará, pero he tenido la suerte de cruzarme con personas que siempre entablan una conversación conmigo y me permiten hacerle unas fotografías a sus queridos amigos caninos y esta ocasión no fue la excepción, ya que, mientras su dueña me hablaba y contaba sobre la perra, yo escuchaba y hacía algunas fotografías al mismo tiempo.
I took these photographs relatively close to dusk. There was very little light, to be honest, so I had to resort to increasing the ISO and sacrificing a little shutter speed, even though I knew the dog was constantly moving. That's why I had to take advantage of those moments when she stayed still enough to take the photos, and honestly, I'm quite happy with the result. To develop the photos, I increased the exposure and tried to make the subject stand out from the background, to make her more striking, of course.
Estas fotografías las hice relativamente al anochecer, tenía muy poca luz la verdad, por lo que tuve que recurrir a subir el ISO, sacrificar un poco de velocidad de obturación aun sabiendo que la perrita se movía constantemente, por eso tuve que aprovechar aquellos momentos donde se quedaba lo suficientemente quieta para hacer las fotos y honestamente estoy bastante contento con el resultado. Para revelar las fotos, aumenté la exposición e intenté hacer resaltar a la protagonista del entorno, para que fuese más llamativa, por supuesto.

Nice and candid pictures of your canine friend! It's nice the owner was willing; I've often wondered what I would do if I was taking a picture of something similar to what you did, and the person was affronted. Has that happened to you?
