Lately, there have been a lot of cats where I live, but seriously, I'm not exaggerating when I say a lot of cats; luckily, they all have homes. It seems that people have started switching from dogs to cats, as there used to be quite a few dogs, but over time cats have started to gain ground and now every time I go out I come across one. So today I want to share with you some photos I took of a neighbor's cat; I hope you enjoy them.
Últimamente, por donde vivo hay muchos gatos, pero en serio, no exagero al decir que muchos gatos; por suerte, todos tienen hogar. Al parecer, las personas empezaron a cambiar de perros a los gatos, ya que antes había bastantes perros, pero con el paso del tiempo los gatos empezaron a ganar terreno y ahora cada vez que salgo me encuentro con alguno. Por eso, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías que hice a un gato vecino; espero que las disfruten.
I have mentioned on occasion that not all cats are friendly or quick to trust people; luckily, the ones I have encountered are. I mean, I make a gesture of approaching slowly, and if these cats accept, they simply come a little closer, waiting for me to pet them, and when this happens, I take the opportunity to take some pictures. Many of them stay still, others lie down and start rolling around in a funny way, and I, for my part, take advantage of all these moments to take pictures.
He comentado en alguna ocasión que no todos los gatos son amables o toman confianza con rapidez; por suerte, con los que me he cruzado sí. Quiero decir, hago el gesto de acercarme lentamente y, si estos gatos aceptan, simplemente se acercan un poco esperando que los acaricie y ya, cuando esto ocurre, aprovecho para hacer algunas fotografías; muchos se quedan quietos, otros se acuestan y empiezan a rodar sobre ellos mismos de forma graciosa y yo, por mi parte, aprovecho todos estos momentos para hacer las fotos.
This one in particular had his gaze fixed on other cats nearby, which helped me a little when taking some of the photographs; this gave me a couple of seconds to get a good focus without worrying about this little cat moving. I tried to take photos of the other cats around him, but they were clearly not as trusting and decided to leave as soon as I got a little closer; they probably didn't quite trust my movements.
Este en especial tenía su mirada fija en otros gatos cercanos, por lo cual me ayudó un poco para hacer algunas de las fotografías; de esta manera tenía un par de segundos para hacer un buen enfoque sin preocuparme del movimiento de este pequeño gato. Intenté hacerles fotos a los otros gatos alrededor, pero sin duda estos no tenían tanta confianza y decidían irse apenas me acercaba un poco; seguro no confiaban del todo en mis movimientos.
