Trying to capture movement can be challenging, but this can be solved as long as you know what you want to capture. For example, when I was watching this type of dance, I tried to capture the girl's movements, to try to capture the essence of her dancing, and I think that in some photos this is more apparent than in others, but without a doubt, it is interesting how freezing movements can generate a certain emotion similar to the moment itself. Therefore, I hope you enjoy these photographs.
Intentar capturar el movimiento puede suponer un reto, pero esto puede intentar solucionarse siempre y cuando se sepa el qué quieres captar, yo por ejemplo, cuando estuve viendo este tipo de baile/danza intenté capturar los movimientos de la chica, intentar atrapar esa esencia en su momento de bailar y creo que en algunas se aprecia más que en otras, pero sin duda ,es interesante el cómo congelar movimientos puede generar cierta emoción similar al instante, por lo tanto, espero que disfruten de estas fotografías.
Sometimes I surprise myself when I try to take photos for the first time of things I'm not used to, and this was one of them; I mean, I didn't go out with the intention of taking these photos, but I was in the right place at the right time, and since I had my camera with me, I took advantage of that. I took many photos; many of them are blurry, very shaky, or don't have a focus on any interesting area, but it was precisely because I insisted on taking several photos that I managed to take others that do have a good focus and that I think freeze the movement perfectly.
A veces me sorprendo a mí mismo cuando intento hacer fotos por primera vez de cosas a las que no estoy acostumbrado y esta fue una de ellas; quiero decir, yo no iba con intenciones de hacer estas fotografías, pero estaba en el momento correcto y, al llevar mi cámara conmigo, aproveché eso. Hice muchas fotografías; muchas de ellas son borrosas, muy movidas o no tienen un enfoque casi en ninguna zona interesante, pero justo por el haber insistido en hacer varias fotografías fue que logré hacer otras que sí tienen un buen enfoque y que creo que congelan el movimiento a la perfección.
When developing the photographs, I had to brighten them considerably because, even though there was plenty of light in the location, I had to adjust my camera settings to freeze the movement as effectively as possible, which reduced the light, so I had to compensate by increasing the ISO slightly. I kept the original colors, as I felt they perfectly matched the girl's expression in the dance, and I only had to correct certain aspects, but I tried to be as faithful as possible to the moment I took the photo.
Para el revelado de las fotografías tuve que iluminar mucho las fotos, ya que, a pesar de que se aprecia bastante luz en el lugar, tuve que ajustar los valores de mi cámara para congelar el movimiento de la mejor forma posible y esto me restó luz, la cual tuve que compensar subiendo un poco el ISO. Mantuve los colores originales, ya que el lugar me parecía que iba a la perfección con la expresión en el baile de la chica y solo tuve que corregir ciertos aspectos, pero intenté que fuese lo más fiel posible al momento que hice la foto.
