Thanks a lot! They're definitely some of my favourites that I've taken from this group. The previous ones were often just in very dark locations or just way too contrasty because of harsher light.
I've been eyeing up another vintage lens to add to the lineup, a wider focal length with a bit more characteristic to the bokeh. Some of the older Mir lenses. Very easy to find here in Armenia and depending on the focal length also quite cheap!
I’m sure there are plenty of local events to you where you could get even more experience? Organisers LOVE things for free 😎
Events like this are quite small in Yerevan. It's a tight group that get together. Though there are a lot of family related parties around though. Tons of weddings, birthdays, basically anything Armenians can throw a big party over, they will. I've done some paid work in similar things in the past here, ended up with hundreds of RAW files to go through and also going home quite drunk.
Slowly forming a bit of a portfolio for this location though, just finished all the documents and early tax stuff. Going to start some advertising and ideally pick up the work next. It's a high demand environment that is getting more competitive, but also doesn't have the right talent available still.
