RE: Halloween on 35mm Pan 400 Film Stock

I don't really do much with film

I started with film and I'll always love it, but those prices are just ridiculous now. I use it mostly for special moments now, times where I'm travelling and really want to use film. But I could never run around daily with the Canon AE-1 like I used to. Now I'm in Armenia, film prices are even more expensive than England, but the development is cheaper.

Here the best course of action is either buying smaller branded film (still pricey) online or what I have been doing: shooting vintage glass to still get the unique characteristics on digital.

Don't get me wrong, I love film, it's what I started with too. Albeit 110 and 35mm point and shoots mostly. I thought that cost per click was bad growing up but the situation seems to have gotten worse over the years. I never could afford to shoot anything but digital :)

Here in the US the film isn't that pricey but development is, so I rarely shoot more than a roll or two in a year. Ha, I bought one of those plastic 'Holga' lens for my Nikon for similar reasons. Wasn't quite the same but it was still fun.
