I always give three basic pieces of advice: don't rush, observe, interact.
Then the complementary and equally important: one step at a time, don't compare, create from a state of enjoyment, without thinking about money.
(money is necessary but look how people do shit for money, I can't stand it).
Yep, making the process of posting/writing/photography the actual reward (in the mind) is the best thing. I did that from the outset and it meant I enjoyed it more. The monetary rewards will stem from there.
Agreed. People do some terrible things for it, here on Hive too.
