The end of the year is approaching and for many it is time to reunite with friends and family. I hope everyone is having a good time.
Today I bring a selection of night photographs. Portraits of people having fun at the bar, drinking, talking and enjoying the nightlife. These portraits require enormous attention, people moving, interacting, expressing themselves. As photographers we must anticipate these moments, otherwise the photo is gone by the time we set up the camera.
I also like interacting with people and stimulating expressions, creating photos. Playing jokes that encourage laughter and taking out the camera at the right moment, for example.
I remember the beginning of my career, working at the first party and being afraid of interfering with people's vibe, photographing from afar and looking for frames. But over time I learned that deep down the vast majority want to be in photographs, they feel flattered to be the focus of the photographer's attention and so I learned to get closer. But getting close wasn't enough, as I needed expressions to generate interesting photographs about a party and to tell something positive. In this way, I developed approach techniques, generating different reactions and creating images that encourage people to discover about the person being photographed and about that event that had such interesting people.
I once heard that the photographer must predict the image and often cause the image, otherwise the photo will just be something common and commonplace. The decisive moment can be created without it being artificial. And with this in the back of my mind, I started interacting with the public and artists looking for expressions and interactions for the camera.

Olá meus amigos, espero que estejam todos bem.
Fim de ano chegando e para muitos é momento de se reencontrar com amigos e familiares. Espero que todos estejam passando bons momentos.
Hoje trago uma seleção de fotografias noturnas. Retratos de pessoas se divertindo no bar, bebendo, conversando e vivendo a vida noturna. São retratos que exigem uma atenção enorme, pessoas se movendo, interagindo, se expressando. Como fotógrafos devemos prever esses momentos, caso contrario até configurar a câmera a foto já foi.
Tambem gosto de interagir com as pessoas e estimular expressões, criando a fotos. Fazendo alguma brincadeira que estimule o riso e sacando a camera no momento exato, por exemplo.
Lembro do inicio da carreira, trabalhando na primeira festa e com medo de interferir na vibe das pessoas, fotografando de longe e buscando enquadramentos. Mas com o tempo aprendi que no fundo a grande maioria quer estar nas fotografias, se sente lisonjeado de ser o foco da atenção do fotografo e assim aprendi a chegar mais perto. Mas chegar perto não bastava, já que precisava de expressões pra gerar fotografias interessantes sobre alguma festa e que contasse algo positivo. Dessa forma, desenvolvi técnicas de aproximação, gerando reações diversas e criando imagens que instigam a descobrir sobre o fotografado e sobre aquele evento que tinha pessoas tão interessantes.
Uma vez ouvi que o fotografo deve prever a imagem e muitas vezes causar a imagem, caso contrário a foto será apenas algo comum e corriqueiro. O momento decisivo pode ser criado sem que seja algo artificial. E com isso de fundo no meu pensamento, passei a interagir com publico e artistas buscando expressões e interações pra câmera.
