Un arco iris ponible en forma de pulsera de cuerda de ganchillo, hecha por una amiga de mi madre (magrit k.). También tengo un collar para acompañar a la pulsera, pero con un diámetro de 1 cm/ 0,39 pulgadas (al igual que la pulsera) es un poco demasiado grueso para mi comodidad personal (cuello).
He visto algunos tutoriales en YouTube para entender cómo se hace este tipo de pulsera (o collar), y debo admitir que la cabeza me daba vueltas después de ver sólo unos minutos. El ganchillo, el trenzado o incluso el punto nunca han sido mis pasatiempos de bricolaje favoritos, simplemente no se me dan nada bien este tipo de manualidades repetitivas. Y este estilo de ganchillo con abalorios parece ser muy complicado y meticuloso porque las diminutas cuentas de semillas (rocailles) son el "ingrediente" principal necesario. Así que fue mucho más fácil (y rápido) fotografiar la pulsera que hacerla ;)
Esta es una foto individual de la pulsera que había colocado delante de mi lámina de espuma negra. La pulsera tiene un cierre magnético que he abierto antes, así que sólo tenía una capa de pulsera. He tomado otra foto para la que he utilizado el collar que había organizado en varias capas, pero que era un poco demasiado de una "explosión de colores del arco iris", además de que también prefieren la forma un poco extraña "gusano espacial" de la pulsera de una sola capa con el espacio negativo negro alrededor. Disparo abierto a F/2,8 para conseguir un enfoque super ajustado y un bonito bokeh de "piscina de bolas" :)
A wearable rainbow in the form of a crocheted rope bracelet, made by a friend of my mother's (magrit k.). I also have a necklace to accompany the bracelet but with a diameter of 1 cm/ 0,39 inches (just like the bracelet) it is a little too thick for my personal (neck) comfort.
I've watched a few tutorials on YouTube to understand how this type of bracelet (or necklace) is made, and I should admit that my head was spinning after watching just a few minutes. Crocheting, braiding, or even knitting have never been my favourite DIY pastimes, I'm simply not good at all at this repetitive type of craft. And this style of bead crocheting seems to be super complicated and finicky because the very tiny seed beads (rocailles) are the required main "ingredient". So it definitely was a lot easier (and faster) to photograph the bracelet than to make it ;)
This is a single shot of the bracelet which I'd placed in front of my go-to black foam sheet. The bracelet has a magnetic clasp which I've opened before so I had a single bracelet layer only. I've taken another photo for which I've used the necklace that I had arranged in several layers but that was a little bit too much of a "rainbow colour explosion", plus I also prefer the slightly weird-looking "space worm" shape of the single layer bracelet with the black negative space around. Shot wide open at F/2.8 to get a super tight focus and some nice, bubbly "ball pit" bokeh :)

Pequeña porción del bolso de flapper con cuentas de metal de mi abuela a plena luz del sol como contraluz. Me encantaron las refracciones (¿o la luz reflejada?). Ningún ángulo se ve igual.
