Hello everyone,
It is currently spring in Japan and the weather is getting warmer. This is a season that I personally enjoy. Japan is a famous place to see cherry blossoms, and this year the cherry blossoms are blooming fully and earlier than the forecast.
One of the first places where the Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom is the Yodo Suiro Waterway in Kyoto. The Kawazu cherry blossom tree blooms earlier than other kinds.
To get to there, I took the Keihan train from Yodoyabashi station in Osaka to Yodo station, which was about a 10-minute walk to the waterway. Along the waterway, there are cherry blossom trees standing tall. Fortunately, I visited on a peak day to see the cherry blossoms, and the weather was also great. I cannot put into words the beauty of the scenery, so please take a look at my pictures instead.
