People here are terrified. Following MSM. Government and health authorities counting dead people over age 90 in retirement homes. Teachers don't want to start the school year. No travel out of the country. It's a joke if you ask me. More testing, more cases. But economy will collapse. People just don't realize that yet. Government sending cheques to unemployed folks. 2000 CAD a month. People don't want to go back to work. Why would they? What could go wrong, right?
If I would be in SLO I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to spend a week or two in Dalmatia.

You have good point.
I can not imagine how situation is in Canada. You know that Slovenians has some of the Balkan mentality so most of us are not really threatened by this virus.
But this has to have an impact on the economy. In Slovenia, some of the companies uses "waiting for work" law which says that Goverment will pay 80% of the salary for each employee.
My company is doing that as well, so I am home, working just an hour or so from home to keep up all the necessary things.
My company doesn't want to run business fully as long as Goverment is paying the biggest bill - salary.
It is true that I am working in tourism, hotel industry, but still I am not sure how Goverment is laying for all of us...
Wish you will be able to come to Slovenia and Croatia as well soon...
