Thank you and I don't blame the crows, as seagulls are the real scavengers. I don't suppose that you have any Egyptian geese over there, as the males are big fighters, and they will even have a go at humans.
We used to feed a wild pair of the geese in our garden at a previous place and they got used to us. But every time that the female had babies and I came near them, the male goose would attack me !LOLZ

No Egyptian geese, but we do get our share of Canada geese. They hang out in a lot of the parks where we walk, especially if there are ponds and lakes... and they can be very aggressive if you get too close! And they are BIG, up to 6kg with a 2m wingspan!

Oh yes, Canadian geese are not to be trifled with and I think that it's the same with all geese species across the world. The Egyptian geese are also good flyers and I have at times posted some of the fights that they have with other Egyptian geese and crows in the air.
Your geese are much bigger, and we have some of them over here in the Cape province.
