Vienna is... Vienna.

In Vienna, in its historic centre, it pays to walk with your head held high. Because the centre of Vienna is one giant open-air gallery. Statues, statues... and more statues.

Emperors, warlords, angels, allegorical figures... they are almost everywhere in Vienna. On pedestals and rooftops. In parks and at intersections. In marble and bronze. On state buildings and noble palaces.

Vídeň je... Vídeň.

Ve Vídni, v jejím historickém centru, se vyplatí chodit s hlavou vztyčenou. Protože centrum Vídně, to je jedna obrovská galerie pod širým nebem. Sochy, sochy... a zase sochy.

Vladaři, vojevůdci, andělé, alegorické postavy... to všechno je ve Vídni skoro všude. Na podstavcích i na střechách. V parcích i na křižovatkách. V mramoru i v bronzu. Na státních budovách i na šlechtických palácích.
