Today I share with you some of the photo shoot I did with the couple Micaela and Marcio.
They contacted me by phone in February, looking for a photographer to do a beach shoot. They told me that they were from São Paulo and would come to Florianópolis in March for a vacation trip and that they would get married on their way back to São Paulo.
For a month we held online meetings to get the details of our session right and so that I could get to know a little more about them and their history.
When they arrived in Florianópolis, we had a scared. The makeup artist who has worked with me for years had an unforeseen problem with her cell phone and was withouth communication during the entire day leading up to the photo shoot. I was very worried about her, as she is a very committed person with her work and I even thought that something bad could have happened.
Luckily for us, the next day would have better weather conditions and, together with the couple, we decided to reschedule for the next day. Hoping I could talk to my makeup artist or having enough time to call a replacement. Luckily nothing serious had happened to her and the next day we managed to get organized and arrive at the beach early to produce our session.
After the scare was over, the morning of photos was incredible. We had a beautiful sunrise, with beautiful colors and the couple was more rested from the trip, allowing them to be more cheerful and ready for the session.
The photos were taken at Praia da Joaquina, a postcard from Florianópolis (stage for major world surfing championships), and which, according to the couple, is part of their history as this was not their first or last trip to Florianópolis. , the city in which they usually spend their holidays.
In this session, many photos turned out to be a beautiful result. But the first one in this post is my favorite, without a doubt. I always liked to play with double exposures and this idea of doing this type of double exposure with a couple had been in my mind for a long time. It takes a few tries and a lot of patience from the couple, but the result really makes it worth it.

Olá meus amigos, como estão todos?
Hoje compartilho com vocês um pouco da sessão fotográfica que fiz com o casal Micaela e Marcio.
Eles me contataram por telefone em fevereiro, procurando por um fotógrafo para fazer um ensaio na praia. Eles me contaram que eram de São Paulo e viriam a Florianópolis no mes de Março para uma viagem de férias e que se casariam no retorno a São Paulo.
Durante um mês fizemos reuniões on line par ir acertando os detalhes da nossa sessão e para que eu pudesse conhecer um pouco mais deles e da historia deles.
Quando eles chegaram a Florianópolis, passamos por um susto. A maquiadora que trabalha comigo há anos, teve um imprevisto com seu aparelho celular e ficou incomunicável durante todo o dia que previa o ensaio. Fiquei muito preocupado com ela, pois é uma pessoa super comprometida com seus trabalhos e cheguei a pensar que algo de ruim pudesse ter acontecido.
Para nossa sorte, o dia seguinte teria uma melhor condição climática e, junto ao casal, decidimos remarcar para o dia seguinte. Esperando assim conseguir falar com minha maquiadora ou tendo tempo suficiente para chamar uma substituta. Por sorte não havia acontecido nada de grave com ela e no dia seguinte conseguimos nos organizar e chegar bem cedo a praia para produzir nossa sessão.
Passado o susto, a manhã de fotos foi incrível. Tivemos um belo amanhecer, com lindas cores e o casal estava mais descansado da viagem, permitindo que eles estivessem mais alegres e dispostos para a sessão.
As fotos foram realizadas na Praia da Joaquina, cartão postal de Florianópolis (palco de grandes campeonatos de surfe mundial), e que, segundo o casal, faz parte da história deles já que esta não era a primeira e nem a ultima viagem deles a Florianópolis, cidade na qual costumam passar suas férias.
Nesta sessão, muitas fotos ficaram com um resultado lindo. Mas a primeira deste post é a minha favorita, sem sombra de duvidas. Sempre gostei de brincar com duplas exposições e esta ideia de fazer este tipo de dupla exposição com um casal, já vinha em minha mente há longo tempo. Precisamos de algumas tentativas e muita paciência do casal, mas o resultado realmente faz valer a pena.
