I wished I could say 'nobody works at Christmas', but I will be working too, except December 25 and 26 which are holidays.
The only test next week will be if Santa Clause and our Christkind have to wear a mask when they deliver the gifts for the kids š

Right, on December 26 we are going in a hard lockdown again till January 18 I believe. And if you don't let them test you, you will be in lockdown for one more week or so, and you have to wear a mask outside... some things I don't understand and some things are really annoying.
But it is as it is and only together we can fight this enemy, but as long as people are so stupid the enemy will only smile.
I'm glad that you didn't ask what I "work", because I "work" for the government. People always make fun about us and think that we sleep more than we work š“ but actually, if I was three persons there would still be enough to do for each of us, at least in migration and pandemic times š
I have joined the "Gendarmerie" corps in 1985, but have never been out on the streets, because that's just not my thing - I couldn't fine people for things I like to do myself (e.g. speeding š). After several jobs over the years, since 2012 I'm simply said kind of a facility manager for all our buildings and offices in the country, but in 2021 I might change one last time before I retire, maybe to a job where I can get some sleep during the day š

Well, there are many computers, but hiving on government computers is not easy, and especially the ones of my ministry are quite restricted in use, although the idea would be great ;)
