I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. In today's post, I have presented the amazing beauty of nature to you through photographs. I have no words to describe this beauty. But I will give you detailed information about this place. The photographs that appear in today's post are captured early in the morning from the top of Kedarkantha. Kedarkantha is one of the most famous places in Uttarakhand. It is located in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi district of the state of Uttarakhand, India. To reach the peak of Kedarkantha and see the golden sunrise, tourists usually start their journey from Dehradun. Which is well connected to major cities like Delhi by road, rail and air.
Now I will give you information about how to reach Kedarkantha. If you are coming from Delhi, then first you have to reach Dehradun. From Dehradun, one should go to Sankari. Sankari is a small hill village that serves as a base camp to reach Kedarkantha. The distance from Dehradun to Sankari is about 200 kilometers. It takes about 8 to 10 hours to reach it by road. The route passes through picturesque towns like Mussoorie, Purola and Mori. The route is a scenic journey passing through pine forests, mountain rivers and deep valleys. After reaching Sankari, the actual trekking route to Kedarkantha begins. This sandalwood route usually takes four to five days. It covers a total of 20 kilometers.
This mountain climbing route passes through beautiful campsites like Juda Ka Talab, a tranquil frozen lake surrounded by pine trees, and Kedarkantha Base Camp. It offers a magnificent view of the nearby peaks. The final climb to the peak begins early in the morning. Often people climb before dawn so that they can reach the top in time to see the golden sunrise. The photographs presented here are also from early morning and before sunrise. You will also see the sunrise in these photographs. The climb to reach the top is steep but rewarding. Because the view from the peak makes every step worth it.
In each of the photographs presented here, you will see the pure essence of the Himalayan dawn. In these photographs, you can see the vastness of the snow-capped peaks blending into the golden sky. Here, the clouds form intricate patterns in the early morning. As if they are creating waves radiating from the rising sun. Each layer of the color of the clouds seen here creates depth and life in the sky - blue, orange, yellow. The snow on the peaks shines softly. Reflecting the sunlight. And the dark valleys seen in the photographs presented here contrast beautifully with the bright sky above.
