RE: "A Noisy Gull" - A Series of Closeup Photographs

Very enjoyable reading and captures.
Wanted to ask 1st thing, which lens did you use (400 or 600) but then read this part:

We did not have the snacks they wanted, but still they sat close by, screaming, almost demanding us to bring it snacks.

Still curious what lens it was - > 50mm maybe?..

PS
My babygirl confirmed - all of the photoset is stunning!

Thank you so much for the nice and kind words! I don't think I used the 50mm in this series, but I could have? I think I used my Tamron 300mm zoom lens. Luckily the lens is 70-300 so I used 70mm at some stage, I am sure of it. I was lucky that they got so close to us.

I possess a Canon 70-300mm (bad lens I use v. rarely), so I absolutely understand the potential of this focal length range. I hope Tamron edition is far better than my Canon! 😎 Cheers, and !PIZZA

Not sure how they compare, but the Tamron was a cheap buy (I only had a small budget way back in 2011 when I bought it) but it has held up all these years. Certain lighting then the quality is really bad (blue sky backgrounds mess with the image quality) but sometimes I get really nice photographs with it. Cheers!
