How are you all photography lovers?
May you always be healthy and happy always with your family.

Taking photography pictures Children, especially young ones whose ages range from 2-4 years are very challenging, it takes a lot of patience and a strong struggle.
If you agree with my opinion, it means you are also experiencing the same thing that I experienced.

What I show in my photography work this time is my child who is more than 3 years old but not yet 4 years old.

Taking some photography pictures of my daughter is not an easy thing as easy as turning the palm of the hand, it takes patience and hard work and a strong imagination.

So mothers who often complain about the results of their photos being blurry, unclear, out of focus, children don't want to be photographed, children cry when invited to take photos and so on, now you are a little relieved that almost all mothers experience the same thing.

Mother and mother must be upset when the child has been dressed, the camera is ready, the child turns out to be crying, afraid to be photographed or even run away somewhere, or don't let the child turn his back to the mother's camera, wow, it must be very annoying if that happens.

Therefore, I have a few tips for mothers who have small children or toddlers who want to make them as objects of photography.

And the tips I share are based on my experience in dealing with my children, maybe when you practice it later you will experience different things because every child has a different character. Also, but at least you have standards and tips that you can try.

Tips for photographing children that you can try at home...

  1. Do not force the child, let the child choose his own style.

Children will not want and will not comply with our wishes if we force them, because children's characters are like that, but the best way to invite children to take photos is to have a friendly chat with them, and invite children to play first, if necessary, give the child a toy for a while so that the child is happy, or give something he likes.

After that, let the child choose his own comfortable style, as a parent or mother just suggest how to style it well without forcing it.

Just like the picture you can see, my son prefers the style of crossing his legs like a model from where he saw it, I don't know, I didn't force him to follow the style he was told, but my son took the style he liked himself.

In my opinion, you can imitate the style of crossing your legs like my child at home, hopefully it works

2 .Focus on the eyes and let the child express freely

Why should you focus on the eyes?
Did you know that the eye is one of the most beautiful gifts from God, even in the concept of photography, the eye view really determines the quality of the photography that is taken.

And did you know that the eyes in the photo can captivate the hearts of anyone who sees your work.

then how..?

If you use a camera that has a focus point, you only need to control the focus of your child's eye direction, this will not always work, because sometimes the child has his back to the camera.

If that's the case, you just need to bring the focus closer to the one closest to the eye.

good luck

3.Give children their favorite flower

For children who like their mother, giving flowers when they are about to be photographed is a great way, apart from entertaining children, the style of children holding flowers is a beauty in itself.

If the children have started to look bored and moody, then you need to joke with them until they laugh happily again, or you make funny moments in front of the children that make the children smile

4.Choose a simple but natural background.

You must be able to choose a good place that can be used as a background, if you choose to go out or in nature, choose a natural location, not in the middle of the hot sun.

Wear children's clothes that are most liked by children, the goal is to get comfortable during the shooting process.

5. Give clear directions to children without forcing

If you like children to pose or style according to your wishes, it is a difficult thing to do, but children must be given gentle and gentle directions and instructions.

I direct my child to smell the favorite flower that I give, I recommend giving the child a flower that smells good, so that your child is comfortable while being photographed
