Don't forget the ground crew..

When I'm shooting my aviation stuff, I wherever possible take shots of the ground crew doing thier stuff... Without these guys and girls, the stuff in the air doesnt happen!!

Here's the crew from the Spanish Armarda at RAF Yeovilton prepping thier av8b harrier for its display.. With 2 airframes there, I wasn't sure which one was going to be used, as they prepped both, but this is the display aircraft.

The pilot recieved a good round of applause upon landing and exiting his plane.

It may seem that aviation is a mainly male dominated industry, and yes it probably is, but things are changing, theres females doing every role that men are doing, from pilots to ground crew to engineers. Which is a good thing
