This one's too good not to share...

Somewhere in the throes of my YouTube addiction, up popped a short entitled, "Stop Using Pinterest -> Use This Instead." I don't often use Pinterest, but it caught my attention... and changed the trajectory of my creative life.

This site is crazy cool.

In concept, it's quite similar to Pinterest. But way better.

Slick, clean, minimal, intuitive UI. Sexy as fuck.

And the visual content... wow. I'm continually blown away.

Perhaps one of the biggest differeniators: on the back-end, they're using AI to fuel the engine that generates image recommendations. And the shit works. Amazingly.

Say you want to see some dope architecture photos. You find one you like. The recommendations won't just pump out more generic architecture - it analyzes the style, refining what comes next specifically aligned. Want cool retro-ish black-and-white photos of classic cars? Find one and surf the wave of that exact theme. Pictures of beautiful women in the tropics in a certain motif... done. Photographic nature masterpieces of an exact type of landscape - epic mountain peaks or green rolling valleys, beyond-stunning color displays from volcanic runout, arctic icebergs so surreal you'd think they were AI... you got it. Specific types of art or graphic design... easy. Looking for something in a specific color - there's even the option to refine a search to that too.

And the browsing experience is beautiful. Smooth. Refined.

Curating collections ("clusters") of photos ("elements")... same type of process as pinning something to a board on Pinterest... but whole different feel. And ease of integration across the web & devices... flawless. On desktop? Download/install a browser extension, and you'll have the option to quickly save any image with a click of the little Cosmos icon at its top left. On iOS? The "share" function will have an option to save to a cluster of your choice. Easy-peasy.

I've been getting hella bored with Instagram lately, and discovering Cosmos has been refreshing beyond description as opening up a new chapter of artistic inspiration. Whole different vibe - IG's endless feed of "content" posted for likes and quick-hit dopamine versus Cosmos' infinite crossroads down which awe-inspiring discovery of breathtaking art awaits. Whole different worlds.

There's not a whole lot more I can say about it than just test it out for yourself, dive in, get your feet wet, and experience it as surfing some amazing waves of what visually inspires you.

It is my hope you'll end up loving it just as much as I have... 💎✨

I tell you what, I finally found something from AI that had me pretty impressed. I even showed it to my wife after I posted about it today and she couldn't believe it either. I know you wrote about it the other day, but this whole music side of things is getting crazy!
