It's that sort of weird temperature where you aren't really sure how to dress for it; hot in the day and cold in the evening.
Sounds like Melbourne.
I remember when 4:3 was normal, and then 16:9 happened and it looked weird and long, and then eventually it was around long enough to look normal, and recently I found an old monitor that we need to figure out if it's still working so we can send it to the computer charity rebuilding thing in the area, and it looks so square XD
My GoPro is set to just shoot everything in square to make things easier to crop, not that I ever do portrait videos normally. You're probably thinking of something completely different to do with squarish frames though XD

I love most aspect ratios but lately there's something fun about 4:3. I think this came from also watching some older shows, now that I think about it. They're 4:3 and I've always enjoyed it, just never decided to try it out for myself.
I like it because it looks really nice when depth is the focus. Something in the foreground or things in the background. Limited space to tell the story of the environment. It mixes things up a bit compared to the usual style I've been running with, which was cropping and making things extra wide.
By the way, that 4:3 TV show look is so much nicer for some reason!
