Sometimes we don't see the beauty in locations close by. Recently visited a local park and found that it has a lot of interesting spots to offer. So went there with a fellow artist friend to spend a night lighting stuff.
Manchmal übersieht man schöne Locations die direkt in der Umgebung liegen. Vor Kurzem habe ich einen Park in der Nähe besucht und dort ein paar vielversprechende Plätze gefunden. Also bin ich mit einen Kollegen los gezogen und wir haben eine Nacht lang dort rum geleuchtet.
We found a section of the park where several frames were placed for wines and plants to grow on. Especially the center piece caught my attention which is like a dome over some benches. The plants are probably still hibernating but even the branches give this place a very unique look.
Wir haben eine Stelle im Park gefunden an der mehrere Gestelle für Ranken und ähnliche Pflanzen platziert wurden. Besonders das Gestell in der Mitte des Platzes hat meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen. Hier bilden die Gestelle eine art Kuppel über eine kleine Bankgruppe. Zwar sind die Pflanzen wohl noch im Winterschlaf aber auch die Zweige geben dem ganzen schon einen einzigartigen Look.
This dome was perfect to call upon Cthulhu to send one of his creations spreading tentacles out of the dome. And since the shape already forms a portal it was obvious to create one into another dimension inside.
Diese Kuppel bot sich perfekt dazu an Cthulu nach einem Auftritt einer seiner Monster zu fragen das seine Tentakel aus der Kuppel heraus streckt. Und da die Kuppel sowieso schon wie ein Torbogen geformt ist bot es sich auch an hier ein Portal in eine andere Welt zu öffnen.
To the sides of the location were wonderful hallways created with wooden frames that are partly overgrown with wines. A little selective lighting brings out nice shadow structures in this hallways.
An den Seiten des Platzes befinden sich Gänge aus Holzgestellen die teilweise mit Ranken zugewachsen sind. Mit ein bisschen selektiver Beleuchtung konnte ich hier ein spannendes Schattenspiel in den Ganz zaubern.
Like all my art all photos were created in front of the camera using camera tricks and lightpainting techniques. no digital manipulation involved in post production.

Super Anregung, mal wieder in den Park zu gehen und die Lichter tanzen zu lassen. Hab ich schon zwei Jahre nicht mehr gemacht. Das Portal gefällt mir am besten. 👍
