So today I thought I share a trip I did to Wanås with my parents, and this is a interesting place to visit for sure.

Wanås Center for Art!
A place where art, nature, and
history meet.
The MAIN house is a white Castle, and
I really love this view alot.
About Wanås
Wanås Konst Center for Art and Learning produces and facilitates art that challenges and transforms our view of society, outdoors in the landscape around Wanås in Skåne.
In addition to the permanent
collection, comprehensive temporary exhibitions are displayed both indoors and outdoors, with accompanying programmes including tours, artist
talks, and workshops for a
broad audience.
Wanås Konst produces site-specific, international contemporary art and learning while following its main
tenets of innovation and
access for all.
The sculpture park and permanent collection consist of around 70
site-specific artworks in the
landscape that have been created especially for Wanås Konst
by artists such as
Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer,
Yoko Ono och Ann-Sofi Sidén.
The sculpture park enjoys around
75,000 visitors each year, and 10,000 children and youth participate in pedagogical activities such as
tours and workshops.
This horse caught my attention INSTANTLY, it looked really cool
all covered in artwork.
And being a person Who loves old things, these 2 next pictures
were a favorite 😁
Old gas pumps
Wanås Konst is run by the independent
non-profit Wanås Foundation.
Marika Wachtmeister founded the organization in 1987 and served as director until 2010.
Since 2011, the organization has
been led by directorial duo Elisabeth Millqvist and Mattias Givell.
The organization is financed through
its own revenue and receives federal, regional, and municipal support,
as well as support from private foundations and sponsors.
Wanås Konst is a member of the European Land Art Network (ELAN).
This was my favorite spot and the trees looked really amazing, and cool with all the rope things hanging down.
Wanås is a special place where art, nature, and history meet.

The envirement all around is amazing
It consists of a sculpture park
and art gallery as well as a medieval castle and an organic farm.
The spring of 2017 saw the opening of Wanås Restaurant Hotel. Wanås lies in Östra Göinge municipality in north-eastern Skåne, 1.5 hours from Malmö/Copenhagen.
Wanås is a Long Run Destination—an international leader within sustainable tourism, local business development, and cultural conservation.
This place was my favorite part,
the building is amazing and
has incredleble details.

It was a Great place to visit and
many interesting things to se.
Some amazing and beautiful art,
But also art that was
weard and funny.

The photos were stunning, the scenery, in the beginning, begged me to come in. Loved the horse in the pasture at the fence! :))
It is a nice time for the family to get together and enjoy these times, as much as possible.
I love old gas pumps! They are so hard to come by and collect. Out west, here in the states, many have been preserved because of their desert climate. I like the second one, so unusual! Thank you for the tour. It is nice when someone takes the time to explain everything and give you great pictures too!
