In the last part of the Riessloch waterfalls I show a few more spectacular photos of the watercourse. The stream meanders through the forest for 1.6 km and overcomes several meters in altitude. The main cases are impressive, no question, but there are plenty of smaller cases or steps that are just as photogenic depending on the angle. In order to put it in the right light, however, I had to disregard the marked trails and stand in the stream. But I did this very carefully and stayed on the stones, only the tripod was placed in the water. The first three pictures were exposed for 1.3 seconds at aperture 13.
Im letzten Teil der Rießlochwasserfälle zeige ich noch ein paar spektakuläre Aufnahmen des Wasserlaufs. Der Bach schlängelt sich auf 1,6 km Länge durch den Wald und überwindet dabei etliche Höhenmeter. Die Hauptfälle sind beeindruckend keine Frage, aber da sind noch jede Menge kleinerer Fälle oder Stufen die je nach Blickwinkel ebenso fotogen sind. Um sie ins richtige Licht zu rücken musste ich allerdings das Wegegebot mißachten und mich in den Bach stellen. Ich tat dies aber absolut vorsichtig und blieb auf den Steinen, nur das Stativ wurde ins Wasser gestellt. Die ersten drei Bilder wurden mit 1.3 Sekunden belichtet bei Blende 13.
When there is no wind, you can even take long exposures like this, for 2 seconds with almost no leaf movement. The result is much more intense in color than a normal quick exposure in passing by.
Bei Windstille sind sogar solche Aufnahmen mit langer Belichtung möglich, 2 Sekunden fast ohne Blattbewegungen. Das Resultat ist deutlich farbintensiver als eine gewöhnliche schnelle Belichtung im Vorbeigehen.
Rocks usually don't run away and so I was able to make the dark side of the overhang visible here in 6 seconds.
Felsen laufen normalerweise nicht davon und so konnte ich hier mit 6 Sekunden auch die dunkle Seite des Überhangs sichtbar machen.
Here I had to accept some movements of the leaves with 8 seconds and f / 13. The result, however, is an image with extreme sharpness from front to back and the typical fog-like veils on the watercourse.
Hier musste ich mit 8 Sekunden und Blende 13 einige Bewegungen der Blätter in Kauf nehmen. Das Resultat ist aber ein Bild mit extremer Schärfe von vorne bis hinten und den typischen nebelartigen Schleiern auf dem Wasserlauf.
The last picture in front of the parking lot and the drive home shows the Riessbach 1.6 km below the large falls. A successful excursion in the Bavarian forest comes to an end and I am glad that I made it all the way and that I can take many pictures with me.
Das letzte Bild vor dem Parkplatz und der Heimfahrt zeigt den Rießbach 1.6 km unterhalb der großen Fälle. Ein gelungener Ausflug im bayerischen Wald geht zu Ende und ich bin froh die ganze Strecke geschafft zu haben und viele Aufnahmen mitnehmen zu können.

Very nice green surrounding! The stream looks very refreshing! No more snow!! The weather is warmer?! I see that there’s still plenty of snow in other countries.
The travel was in September, today we have -13 degree, brrrrrrr. Only 5 cm of snow here. And full sunshine.
Oh! Minus!! I would get drunk with brandy! LoL
