Intro

A few days of rest, or rather searching for motifs, was the order of the day. I chose an area in Tyrol that is completely unspectacular, so I couldn't be prevented from taking pictures by the usual stream of tourists. That went almost perfectly well! The journey by car went via Mittenwald to the border and then in the direction of Innsbruck. In the Inn Valley then over the Motorway into the Sellrain Valley and up.

In St. Sigmund I had booked a super cheap guesthouse for 5 days and was very happy with it. From there I could then start my daily photo excursions, even almost directly from the house. My main motif is the water which is looking for its way into the valley. There are often two images of the same subject, one with short exposure and one with long exposure. Since I took about 1000 pictures I have to split them up into a few posts and don't panic, I won't post them all!

In the lower part of the valley the brook is called Melach, further up it is the Zirmbach.

At St. Sigmund the Gleirschbach flows into the Zirmbach, my first photo area, here the view of the valley.

And the other way up.

Und in die andere Richtung nach oben.

I could move freely in the creek bed, far and wide nobody was to be seen, only the pure nature and the rippling of the water.

At the very back of the picture you can see a small bridge, on the way there many pictures were taken, so we will continue with that in the next part.
