Intro

I was lucky with the weather. No rain was expected on the first day of the trip, then it should rain every day. However, it gave me a wider berth and the result was only light rain for a few hours on one day. The size of the creek bed shows that a lot more water could flow here, but now it was possible for me to explore the whole creek and to stand to the right and left of the water. Or like in the first picture in the stream!

Ich hatte Glück mit dem Wetter. Am ersten Tag der Reise war kein Niederschlag zu erwarten, dann sollte es täglich Regen geben. Allerdings hat der dann um mich einen größeren Bogen gemacht und nur an einem Tag war für ein paar Stunden leichter Regen die Folge. An der Größe des Bachbettes sieht man schon dass hier viel mehr Wasser fließen könnte, aber für mich war es damit möglich den ganzen Bach zu erkunden und mal rechts und mal links vom Wasser zu stehen. Oder wie im ersten Bild im Bach!

The water often divides into many smaller streams and offers an infinite number of motifs. (f14-1/2 and f8-1/8sec). First I just changed the aperture to get a longer exposure time. Later, however, the ND filters are used.

Oft teilt sich das Wasser in viele kleinere Ströme auf und bietet unendlich viele Motive. (f14-1/2 und f8-1/8 sec). Zuerst habe ich nur die Blende so veerändert dass ich eine längere Belichtungszeit bekomme. Später werden dann aber die ND-Filter eingesetzt.

Choosing a motif wasn't particularly difficult, since the stones, as the main protagonists, have put themselves magnificently into the picture.

Die Motivwahl war nicht besonders schwierig, da die Steine als Hautdarsteller sich selbst prächtig ins Bild gesetzt haben.

None of the images have been altered in arrangement or anything else in nature, nature as an artist does not need any improvements.

Bei keinem der Bilder wurde die Anordnung oder sonst irgendetwas in der Natur verändert, die Natur als Künstler braucht keine Verbesserungen.

When going up the creek I only used the 10-24 mm wide-angle lens, the telephoto lens is only unpacked when going down. The reason was the moisture and the splashing water that I liked to keep away from the lenses. The ND filters had to be cleaned before each use.

Beim Hinaufgehen im Bach habe ich nur das 10-24 mm Weitwinkelobjektiv benutzt, das Teleobjektiv wird erst beim Heruntergehen ausgepackt. Grund war die Feuchtigkeit und das Spritzwasser das ich von den Objektiven gerne ferngehalten habe. Die ND-Filter mussten vor jedem Einsatz gesäubert werden.

Hey @schamangerbert, looks like you have had nice weather up in mountians, usually it is cool there but this summer it is quite warm in Europe. The photos with longer exposure made it look really smooth like in the photo magazines :)
