Intro
With this article I conclude the small series about the upper Danube valley. Again, nature is in the foreground of my observations with the camera. The landscape reminded me a lot of the Altmühltal in my immediate vicinity, although there are many more tourist activities to be seen there. It's comparatively quiet here and I didn't see anything about the navigability with boats.
Mit diesem Artikel beschließe ich die kleine Serie über das obere Donautal. Nochmals steht die Natur im Vordergrund meiner Betrachtungen mit der Kamera. Mich hat die Landschaft sehr an das Altmühltal in meiner unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft errinnert, wenngleich dort viel mehr touristische Aktivitäten zu sehen sind. Hier ist es vergleichsweise ruhig und von der Befahrbarkeit mit Booten habe ich nichts gesehen.

Die Kalkfelsen haben oft Höhlen, oder zumindest Ansätze davon, als Übersichtsplatz und Wohnstätte in der Steinzeit sicherlich sehr begehrte Plätze.

Werenwag Castle is within sight of the boat landing stage in Beuron and has been used for over 900 years.
Das Schloss Werenwag ist in Sichtweite von der Bootsanlegestelle in Beuron, belegt seit über 900 Jahren.

Seems like a historical place and you have started the journey from away distance of it, hope later we will learn more about it with your post and photography.
