After two weeks of rain, the sun finally came out! And it happened to be on the day of the traditional carnival. Perhaps this is a good sign for the future, because on this day, which we call 'Pust', masks of all kinds, from traditional to modern, have been chasing away winter for centuries. A large number of spectators and groups from Slovenia and Croatia gathered, making it a real party and a feast for the eyes.
Today, I will present the photos I took in the afternoon, which are quite a few, so it's more of a photo blog of the event. The message was clear โ we've had enough of winter, let's welcome spring. Whether spring will actually arrive, I don't know, as the forecasts don't look good.
