Dalmatian lizard

Today at work, I was visited by a beautiful Dalmatian lizard.
I love these little creatures—they remind me of tiny crocodiles.
I managed to get close, and it didn’t feel threatened. Otherwise, it would have dropped the lower dark part of its tail, which you can see in the photo.
So far, I’ve rarely seen a lizard with its tail fully intact, as they usually shed it whenever they sense danger.
Of course, a new one grows back, but it takes time.

I hope you like this small, innocent, and helpful animal too—it catches flies, spiders, and other bugs that bother us every day.
