And so, the introduction to this year’s tourist season has slowly begun.
Work is still ongoing on some facilities, such as the guest restrooms in the campsite and, of course, on the sports courts.
Two tennis courts, which were mostly empty before, have now been concreted over, and a basketball court and a small football field will be built instead. In my opinion, that’s a much better use of space, and it will look nicer too, while offering more activities in the camp for guests.
So this year, along with the two tennis courts, we’ll also have a basketball court and a small football field, where the youngest guests will also be able to ride rollerblades or scooters.
New young olive trees have been planted as well, and the older ones are already beautifully in bloom.
If there are no unexpected cold spells—which there shouldn’t be this time of year—then judging by how things look now, we’re set for quite a good olive harvest.
The flowers have already blossomed too, and everything is truly beautiful and sunny.
Children are practicing on the tennis courts, guests are enjoying themselves, and the braver ones are already swimming, even though the sea is still only around 16–17 degrees Celsius—so not exactly warm yet.
I’m enjoying myself quietly at the reception, and just outside it, listening to the birds singing, sipping coffee, and soaking in the peace and silence while looking out at the sea and the seagulls gliding gracefully and carefreely through the air.
I hope you are enjoying yourselves too and that you make the most of each day as if it were your last—gently and without stress.
I hope you liked hearing about my workday today, and I wish that yours was at least half as calm and easy as mine.
Wishing you a pleasant afternoon, dear friends.
Thank you my friend ❤️
