Yesterday evening, after a long time, I finally got a day off, and then a storm like we haven't seen in ages hit our town.
Lightning was striking every few seconds and very close by — the whole house and windows were shaking. One bolt struck the local cemetery and caused some minor damage.
Rain was pouring down mixed with hail, and then a cold storm wind started blowing, dropping the air temperature by about ten degrees Celsius in just an hour.
I managed to take a few photos with my phone just before it all started, although it's not the best model, so I'm not really satisfied with how the pictures turned out — but I had to share them with you.
I hope at least one or two of them might appeal to you, and I also hope we won’t have another storm like that anytime soon.
