📷 Nykvåg and Vågen

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

Nykvåg and Vågen are two small fishing villages on the west coast of Langøya Island (Lofoten Islands, Norway). The village of Vågen is located on the western shore of the bay with a pier, and Nykvåg is a little further on the other side, behind a rock.

Despite the fact that it seems that in total there will be no more than 50 houses in the villages, we saw about 10 boats, cutters and small fishing boats on the pier. And a certain amount was probably in the sea. That's what I like — a really good number of boats per capita!

In addition to pretty bays, boats and Norwegian houses, here you can admire the rocks (and maybe even climb them) and look at plenty of seagulls: the rocks to the right of the bay are their nesting grounds. But something tells me that this large picturesque rock on the left, standing on the very shore of the sea, is also not deprived of bird's attention.

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.

Gorgeous. Norway is very high on my list of places to go!

Oh yeah! For several years I have dreamed of traveling for a month there, near the fjords... oh, those dreams! :)

Epic place .

Oh yeah! I would not mind taking pictures there in different weather.

I used to have the mavic pro 1 - just sold it and was going to by the mavic air 2 for a expedition - well that never happened coz of covid so im waiting to buy - maybe mavic 3 will be out by then when we can travel again haha

I hope it will be sooner than the mavic 3 release... but who knows.

I also had Mavic pro. Even two of them - the very first one crashed somewhere in the Pamirs :) and the second one I sold just when was buying Mavic 2 pro. I really like this one, it is really better than the first in some parameters, including such as image quality and wind resistance.
