Last year Kalitata village became flood . Those who live on the shores of the Sundarbans struggle to survive. Because of flood , The dam broke in their area . As a result A lot of water had entered in their area very quickly . At that moment One boy was running in water , because he was going with goats of his home. Really Goats can not tolerate water .
Sundarban means beautiful forest in bengali but there are plenty of 'Sundari' tree in the forest that's why it is named as Sundarbans.
The great royal bengal tiger is the main residents in this forest.Indian chital Deer, wild hen,diffrent kinds of snake,salt water crocodiles, blue-eared kingfisher and grey-headed fish eagle are the main wild animals.Sundari tree ,Gewa and Golpata tree are main tree in the forest.
The life is very much difficult in this area as it comprises close and open Mangrove forest, barren land , agricultural land and mudflats and is intersected by tidal channel.
Sundarban is generally a Mangrove forest which grew up in a delta area formed of river Ganges,Meghna and Brahmaputra in the Bay of Bengal.
This Mangrove forest lies in two countries ie India and Bangladesh and it spans between Hoogly river ,India and Baleswar river, Bangladesh.
Bangladesh consists almost 70% of Sundarban and the rest part is in Indian territory.
They maintain their family hardly . After fishing , they sell that fishes in the market . After vending they get some money . They purchase others elements for maintaining their family . Thus they work hard sothat they can acquire some money . Most of the Fisher man do not buy fish . Because they catch fish themselves . This fisherman went to catch delicious crabs fishes.
Sundarban is spanned over 10,000 sq. Km and the most part lies in Khulna Division, Bangladesh and rest lies in North and South 24 Pgs. district in West Bengal.
Last year I visited my friend house. Actually My friend home is situated nearby sundarbans. I captured three images when One boy was running with goats in water .
