Participating in the 38th Belgrade Marathon was a special honor and one of those experiences that will be remembered forever. Although we are still young, the feeling of standing side by side with thousands of people from different parts of the world, all with the same goal - to run, surpass ourselves and be part of something bigger - was amazing.
At the start, surrounded by a sea of runners and colorful T-shirts, we stood smiling, full of energy and enthusiasm. The four of us - a team that went through preparation, sweating, motivation and cheering each other on together - couldn't wait for the race to start. The sun broke through the gray clouds, the wind was cold, but the atmosphere was so strong that everything else fell into the background.
I decided on a 10 kilometer race and ran it in 52 minutes, which is personally one of my best results so far. During the race, I had the feeling that I was being carried by the energy of the city - fans along the course, volunteers, music, flags... everything was colorful and pulsating with the rhythm of Belgrade. But not everything went smoothly.
Unfortunately, one of my friends injured his leg during the race. He didn't give up right away, he tried to keep going, but the pain eventually made him slow down. Although he didn't finish the way he wanted, he was still a real champion for us - he showed determination, courage and team spirit. By the end of the day, we were all with him, and we know that he will be even stronger next year.
At the finish line, holding a medal with the words "Belgrade Marathon 10K" in my hand, I looked up at the sky, which had already cleared, and smiled. At that moment, I knew it wasn't just about time or mileage. It's about the memories, the people around you and the fact that you are part of a big, positive movement.

The Belgrade Marathon was not just a sports event - it was a story about friendship, struggle, overcoming borders and a shared experience that we will carry with us forever.
