The Crown of Thorns is a contradiction made plant: armor of sharp spines, gray and defensive, that suddenly bursts into tiny flowers of a lacquered red, not of passion, but of precision.
Each petal represents a perfect sheet, smooth and fine, that seems cut with scissors rather than sprung from the earth.
They bloom in minimal clusters, clinging to the hostile stem, as if the plant itself tried to compensate for its harshness with meticulous details.
Its beauty is not exuberant, but strategic. A tiny jewel displayed upon a pedestal of thorns.
And when those dried flowers finally detach, they do not wither in just any way.
They fall whole, showing that even dead, they uphold their dignity.
Even dry upon the wall, they manage to grant life to what once seemed empty, shaping the light, gifting questions to time.

Las Coronas de Cristo son una contradicción hecha planta: armaduras de espinas afiladas, grises y defensivas, que de pronto estallan en flores diminutas de un rojo lacrado, no de pasión, sino de precisión.
Cada pétalo representa una lámina perfecta, tersa y fina, que parece cortada con tijeras y no brotada de la tierra.
Florecen en racimos mínimos, pegados a la vara hostil, como si la propia planta intentara compensar su hosquedad con detalles meticulosos.
Su belleza no es exuberante, sino estratégica. Una joya diminuta exhibida sobre un pedestal de púas.
Y cuando esas flores secas finalmente se desprenden, no se marchitan de cualquier manera. Caen enteras demostrando que, incluso muertas, sostienen su dignidad.
Aún secas en la pared, se encargan de otorgar vida a lo que antes parecía vacío, dando forma a la luz, regalando preguntas al tiempo.
