Animals can't express their feelings in words, but they convey a lot through their eyes, movements, and sounds. Wagging the tail is a sign of happiness, Whining or whimpering may indicate pain, while soft growls or meows may indicate a desire for attention or play, the eyes express their love fear and pain. Understanding their "unspoken language" is humanity. Since they can not speak, it is our responsibility to understand their needs. But it is not so easy as it sounds for every individual. It happened to me today morning, when a wild cat blocked our way at home.

Wild cats are inherently cautious. Their primary reaction to a human is to flee, hide, or maintain a safe distance. Feral cats are unsocialized and will actively avoid human contact. This one always run away seeing us. But today she behaved differently. Even getting closer to her she did not responded and stay lying on the surface. It is very unusual for me. I hesitated to get closer to her, but after my friendly approach she stayed lied.

She appeared to be pregnant, but her unusual behavior does surprises me. Either she wants to convey something or warns us against any something. I tried to get friendlier but she stayed lying there. Earlier she used to run away seeing me or any other person at home. I thought she might be hungry so fed her with with cooked churns which she happily accepts. It allowed me to click few pictures by getting up and close.

There are various belief that were associated with feral cats in India. Some consider it as in auspicious while some consider them as a divine mount of goddess shasti. But being a human it is our responsibility to take care of anyon3 in distress and this cat appeared to be one of such and try my best to understand, before she ran away, seeing other people surrounding her.
In good faith - Peace!!

What a beautiful wildcat! You know I love big cats; I couldn’t help but admire every single photo you managed to take, that’s quite something!!
Its coat looks very similar, although it’s small, to the Argentine puma, which is a big cat, the same colour but the size of a leopard.
It’s true that as humans we have a responsibility to help animals in need; many don’t do it, but you do, and that makes all the difference. She’s clearly pregnant and must have been very hungry; she needs to eat more to stay strong and ensure her kittens grow up healthy. I’ve been fascinated by the photos. Thank you so much!! Big hug!🤗
