Back to Back

Lead

I usually don't post back to back Lake Dunmore photos but today was perfect for reflections 😍

Ridge

The reflections are so crisp you can see the details of the bare trees at the top of the ridge perfectly in the reflection.

Mount Moosalamoo

Mount Moosalamoo always looks good but you can see this morning that the top of the mountain is mostly bare trees.

Cabin

Lighting is better on this side of the lake so the colors are more vivid.

Ridge Reflections

The reflections off the ridge have more color. Lower down the trees are not as far along. Also alot of those trees are oaks which hold their leaves longer.

Point

Back to the point, it is a mix of oaks and white pines along the shore.

The View

Here's my favorite view. The fading color and winter light will make this photo less and less attractive. At least until the snow flies... 😅

Sweet thanks for the tip 👍

You're very welcome, @steven-patrick! 😊

Wooooooow! The reflections, the green x autumnic trees, the mountains, literally a piece of heaven. Mesmerizing clicks!

Thanks. There was a little bit of everything in those photos.

You’ve done an excellent job. The lake looks like a mirror in which the trees are reflected, and the blending of these images creates abstract, surreal shapes. Best regards, @steven-patrick

Thanks for the curation 🙏 🙏

Those reflections are so crisp! Amazing!

Thanks. The conditions were perfect for some great reflections. What a pretty morning.

The lake was like a mirror that day... Impressive.

Thanks. As you know I visit this lake almost daily, reflections like this are rare.
