Spring is here! So much to do. So exciting to get outside and get to work. My plum trees are blooming.

This beautiful young tree was planted last year! Off to a great start.

We planted around 200 bulbs last year... actually for the third year in a row. Added some around the base of some of our trees. These came out perfect.

We plant an assortment of bulbs. And wait to see what ends up where 🙄 this fringed tulip is my favorite tulip I think.

Our cherry trees are almost blooming. So far only the only fruit trees in bloom are the plums. We cleaned up around our trees and added mulch this week.

This liberty apple tree is so close to blooming. The crab apples are also almost to bloom. Great encouragement to get to work with spring yard work. We also cleaned up our berry beds. The blue berries will bloom any day now too. Have a great day hope you enjoyed the quick look around spring here in Vermont! I'm going to try and catch up on posting some of my recent pics and get back to more regular posts.
Ah yes tulips are a sure sign of spring. You have quite the easter egg basket of colors around that tree. I may take my wife here for mother's day to see loads of tulips. https://www.kuipersfamilyfarm.com/pages/spring-mothers-day
Looks like a good place for Mother's Day. We went to Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point in Salt Lake a few years ago. Really nice.
We have had frost the past 2 nights, I worry about the fruit trees.

Thanks for the support 🙏 🙏 we have been cold the last two nights also. I think my trees are fine so far 🤞
The moles got most of my tulips this winter. So I'll have to enjoy yours vicariously. One of my plums is in bloom, but the 2nd still has no flowers. It didn't last year either. They are both 3 years old now.
The squirrels are messing with my tulips now. Decapitating them. Just out of spite I guess they don't eat anything. I have 5 plums I planted last year. One is beautiful, two others have just a few blooms, and two have nothing. The three blooming are Japanese/American hybrids. The two that aren't blooming are American plums that I planted mostly as pollenators for the other trees haha I guess maybe in the future.
