Nice late fall day. High 30F's and no breeze. Today is supposed to be even a bit warmer.

Thats another charactoristic of late fall. The afternoons are short and the shadows come quickly. Its the start of Thanksgiving week in the States. Lots of food and traditionally family. Plus some football I suppose. One of my sons will be home. We will be baking tomorrow and cooking on Thursday. Our family has the big meal and turkey at around noon. Finishing up around time for the first NFL game/nap. Usually followed by a walk and then desserts. Desserts are primarily pumpkin pie. Nothing that unusual on the menu except egg noodles. The noodles often go over the mashed potatoes. I think it goes back to some German ancestry. Like Chicken and noodles (or dumplings) over mashed potatoes.

Thanks. Its all about the lighting and the lake conditions. We walk by the lake usually two times a day so every once and awhile you get shots like these :)

Wow! You really nailed the reflections in all these. They are really cool! No football here as there's no TV. We'll play the Alice's Restaurant song as that's a tradition, if I can remember to turn it on, either the original or the the later version.
Huge turkey, have to get it in the oven by 5AM. We'll prep a little tonight. I don't bake and most of Wednesday is going to be spent cleaning. We've got as many as 8 for the meal. I'm sure Larry will be helping for all he's not worth...
Alice's Restaurant is almost as long as a football game :) Eight people is a nice size not completely overwhelming but a big table full and enough people to way over cook for so you have lots of leftovers
Yup! But I bet my oldest brother will take plenty home with him. as long as I have stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayo, turkey breast for sandwiches, I’ll be happy.
