Abby Pond, near Middlebury, Vermont.

We hiked up to Abby Pond yesterday to check the colors.

Wow ๐

The trail was washed out from last years floods at the beginning of the trail so the hike was a little challenging. But it was worth the extra effort.

We spent about 3 hours on the like. Its about 2.2 miles up to the pond. The first section was rugged due to the damage then there is a steady climb for the middle third and the last part is a relatively flat walk through the woods. What a great view on a great fall day in Vermont ๐
Spectacular! Wish we got color like that.
It was a wonderful fall day ๐ my youngest son even took the afternoon off of work to hike with us.
the color of the leaves is very beautiful
Makes me love Vermont ๐
The reflection in the calm water looks so so beautiful!๐
Thanks the reflections really made the pictures ๐
That is some epic color change!
Thanks we thought it was going to be too early for good colors but we had a chance to make the hike and Wow
Looking good, especially with that water reflection.
Thanks. We like this pond. Its a good hike and also good stand of maples along the shore that usually deliver good colors.
Reflections are always good. I think this technique is doubling what is great and creates a visual pleasure. Very nice scene, thanks for sharing.
Thanks it was a picture perfect day ๐
