Fall reflections from Vermont

Fall reflections

Fall colors are still looking good in Vermont 😁

This post is for #SublimeSunday inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108.

The first photo above is taken from Quiet Lane of a cabin on Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont.

Foggy Morning

Sunrise over a small pond with a thin layer of fog on the water.

Fall dock

Here's another shot taken that same morning, this time back on Lake Dunmore.

Color veiwing section

We love our Adirondack chairs in New England 😁 Choose yours and relax.

Cabins and colors

These cabins are on the southern end of Lake Dunmore. Quite Lane is on the northern end. Lake Dunmore is 3 miles long and about 1 mile wide at the widest point. The road around is about 10 miles (but that also goes around Fern Lake - a smaller lake just south of Lake Dunmore.)

Mount Moosalamoo Sunrise

Mount Moosalamoo is 2620 ft high and in the Green Mountains. It lies just east of Lake Dunmore. The first photo shows the morning light hitting Mount Moosalamoo but not lighting the shores of the lake yet.

Mount Moosalamoo Sunset

The second photo shows Mount Moosalamoo catching the last rays of a nice red sunset again with the shore in darkness.

Thanks for checking out my post 👍 Have a great Sunday!

Looks like the perfect time and place to see the fall colors. I missed the New England trip I had several years ago.

Colors are very good this year. Timing trips is tough. Thats an advantage of being a local 🙂

Love the fog in the early morning @steven-patrick 😊🥰 so beautiful.
The reflections of the other photos are stunning… so smooth, no ripples… amazing.
