Beautiful blue sky at Lake Dunmore, Addison County, Vermont. Looking northeast from east shore of the lake near the southern end of the lake. The docks and boats are out. The campgrounds have emptied out. The leaf peepers are gone. The snow seekers haven't arrived yet. But the natural beauty remains. Wonderful time to be in Vermont.
The cloudy days are still picturesque.
Sunrise is good on most days although the sun is retreating further south these days. Moving the clock back this morning was nice. Our morning walks were getting to be a little too dark.
My favorite days are still the blue skies. Sunny with a smooth lake always makes for nice reflections.
Some lingering fall colors are also picked up in the reflections. Fall peak colors really depend on where you are and what you are looking for... The mountain tops start early but are mostly bare now. The lake shores at Lake Dunmore is still nice. Other places in the Lake Champlain valley are still peak. Its a season. Not a moment in time.
