My blue heaven

New snow with blue skies. I went out looking for some good snow pictures yesterday.

The pond on nearby Leicester River was looking beautiful.

The sun came out making for a blue sky and good reflections.

The snow and some white clouds added some color and brightened up the shots.

The pond is mostly a wide spot on the river. The river bends off to the left at the back of the pond. It gives the illusion of a pond surrounded on all sides by trees. Happy Tuesday and hope you enjoyed my blue heaven.

And why doesn't the pond freeze?

Running water doesn't freeze very easily and the pond always has water running in and out.
