We are enjoying some springtime showers on this #SublimeSunday shout out to @c0ff33a. It has been unseasonally hot and dry for the last week. The rain is welcome on this #BeautifulSunday inspired by @ace108.

This week looked a lot like summer but nature reminded us that there are still some cool, wet days left in spring.

The showers are good for our flowers.

We got some tulip bulbs in the ground last fall.

Just a few. We move into our new home in late August and didn't really have time to plan out our landscaping. We put in some bulbs along the drive but will put many more before winter this year.

The frogs are also happy with the rain.

There are many frogs along a shallow creek that runs through our yard. There are green frogs (like this one), leopard frogs, wood frogs and probably bullfrogs. Oh and of course the spring peepers that are so noisy at night right now.

Plus the rain brings out the red efts which are juvenille, land dwelling red spotted newts. These little guys are only 3 inches long or so.
Hope you are enjoying this #SublimeSunday and #BeautifulSunday.
Yay! 🤗

The frogs are very happy right now 🙂 Very wet, lots of bugs. Life is good. Thanks for checking out my post.
You're welcome.
I haven't seen a red newt in ages. Cool find, poisonous little fellas.
More rain again today. I'm sure all the ones that didn't get where they were going last time will be out wandering around again 🙄 They are pretty little guys. I should get some macro shots. The spots are very cool. Thanks for checking out my post.
A couple years ago I found a brown one living inside an old dryad's saddle mushroom with a puddle of water collected in its cap.
Thats a cool find. Herping and foraging parlay 🙂
