Lately, I've been obsessed with photos taken at the same place at different times. Preferrable different seasons. These two photos aren't perfect. They were taken from different docks but that white cabin across the lake is a favorite photo of mine.

This series of photos are better matches. All taken from the same spot over the last few weeks.

Not really capturing different seasons.

But more capturing the changing of seasons from Fall to Winter.

Some days are pretty similar but each picture is unique.

The early snow fall this year has caught some leaves still on the trees. I've seen a word for this online "Snowliage".

Google AI has this to say "Snowliage" is a portmanteau of "snow" and "foliage" that describes the beautiful, but fleeting, visual phenomenon of autumn leaves and winter snow coexisting in the same landscape."

I remember it. Al Stewart is a favorite of mine. I really like your collections of the changes from fall to winter. In some the changes are subtle, but still interesting. Your opening photo is just stunning...

Thanks. The Al Stewart song popped in my head when I was thinking of how to title my post. Seems like his songs were on the radio all the time in the late 70s and 80s
