It's the turn of the season tempertures dropping , cloudy days and rain .
Those that strugle with depression crawl under a blanket and wait for spring.
I dragged myself outside again in to the forrest looking for signs of autumn and mushrooms.
Let me take you with me on my walk with 41 photos of Dutch nature in the autumn .
The forrest we are visiting today is here https://maps.app.goo.gl/ovztVvHkzTnUH26E9 and the name is "Hoevelakense Bos "
As i enterd the forrest i turned left and between the old oak trees i spotted this .
) Polygonatum multiflorum / Solomon's seal beries coverd with red ants , yes indeed the ones that do byte .
)After Sundays storm there some oak leaves on the ground showing signs of autumn changing the leaves to gold yellow.
) and look here Autumn roulette on an old tree trunk
)And on the side of another old tree trunk , I spotted the first mushrooms and on the left something else .
)An oak leaf with what it looks like eggs of a Cynipoidea .
)Bright yellow oak leaves
) you can see yellow spots in the green leaves of all these giant oak trees .
) Fungi on a mushroom makes it harder to identify.
) another mushroom top view looks like a Russula
)and a side view of the same mushroom , if you can help me with identification please leave a comment :)
) a smaller one side view probably same as above a Russula
) a smaller one with an acorn on top of it.
) between the beech trees and leaves according to google image search it's a Russula emetica / vomiting russula
) side and top view
)and a smaller version still trying to get above the leaves .
)and another two of those
)an old rotten tree trunk filled with Hypholoma fasciculare / clustered woodlover in all sizes and stages .
) on top
)and also at the bottem
) from the look i would say another Russula variety , there seem to be a lot of those .
) About a week ago i posted about beech trees that were marked for cutting , looks like they have started .
)I almost stood on this one it's well camouflaged
)and a side view of this one
)It looks like it's a Paxillus involutus / brown roll-rim
)top view , there were a lot of those nearby
)this one had a small Sorbus tree next to it
)side view , i guess the Sorbus tree is a seedling from this year.
)Psathyrella typhae it looks fragile and it is
)i was able to make a shot from underneath because it was sitting on a branch
) Russula risigallina sitting between the wild starwberries
) The beech trees in teh forrest are still looking very green
)and some more of the Russula risigallina
)this one was still to young and to small for me to identify
) this one i couldn't identify myself , not even with googles help
)this is the top view of that mushroom
)one big old tree trunk with moss and a mushroom top view
)and from a side you hardly notice the tree trunk anymore.
)and now it could be standing anywhere in the forrest
)On the way back to the parking lot , you can also see the yellow leaves already in the oak trees .
)and on the ground as well
) some one or something kicked this one over , time to go home again and make a post for those nature lovers on Hive again.

Oh don't get me started lol.
Great pics, I do love oak trees and chestnut trees. I must get out into the woods and see what there is. Some great finds, but where are the acorns..
